Important Notice to users of estate-a-base
(conventional licence)

(conventional licence) support pricing reduced by accounting pay-per-use charges
As a licensee of estate-a-base
under our conventional licensing model, you would ordinarily be
charged $350.00 per year (based on a single-workstation installation)
to maintain coverage under our Support & Upgrades contract. In
order to prevent cost inequities as between our licensing models,
effective immediately, we are modifying the price structure for this
coverage.
The cost of your Support & Upgrades contract
may be reduced by up to 100%!
Any pay-per-use
charges which you incur in the course of the year for use of the
Estate Accounting module will now be set off, in their entirety,
against the cost of your Support & Upgrades contract. If you
use the module for even a couple of estates- you stand to offset your
entire support contract charges for the year.
Pay-per-use charges
are attributable to a particular estate, and are
client-disbursable.
Just to review- a
little over a year ago, we released the estate-a-base Estate
Accounting module. Although it was the subject of years of
development, the module was provided to our users at no upfront
charge. Instead it may be activated, for those estates which you
select, on a pay-per-use basis. You can use the module to record the
financial transactions of small or very large estates, and the
automated reports may be used for internal use, to submit to your
client or for the passing of accounts.
Pricing for an estate is
between $100.00 and $400.00, depending on the number of estate
accounting transactions to be recorded (over and above those relating
to original assets and liabilities at date of death).
We trust that this change will
be appreciated by our customers. Those who have already integrated
the module into their practice will save money on their next support
renewal. All others will save as and when the module can be of
assistance in processing future estates.
