Support FAQs Will Builder

1. Purchasing credits

Click Transaction Management > Purchase Credits > Order by Internet > Indicate Payment Method > Indicate Amount > Type in 'Submitted by' Name > Type in 'Authorized by' Name > Click Purchase by Internet > Submit

    2. Loading your letterhead

Will Builder can be configured to print your letterhead or to print onto stationery that’s preprinted with your letterhead. You don’t have to change each individual Master Document.

Master Documents distributed with the software contain an “Include File” option that automatically lets you add in your letterhead. Simply incorporate your letterhead into the Include File. Note: It is not recommended that you overwrite the file with your letterhead, because the file may contain other important formatting codes (such as page-numbering).

The letterhead file that should be modified is ltr&date.fmt, which contains a code to add in the date. There is a second file that also requires a letterhead called ltrundtd.fmt.

    3. Creating your database

Every time you enter a Party Name in Will Builder, it is entered into the Parties Database. To edit the Parties Database directly, outside of a Record, click on the Will Builder Parties Database > Edit.

Will Builder also allows you to create a new Record in the Parties Database by importing data from a Party or Principal Record in another Do Process application (The Conveyancer, Fast Company or Estate-a-Base). To take advantage of this import functionality, access the applicable User Setup Record and select Import from among the tabs at the top of the screen.

    4. After the 30-day trial

You will receive a statement outlining the license fees and invoice numbers for any Will Records purchased during the trial period.
