2017 has been an exciting year that brought us a lot to celebrate. Several of our team members are here to share with you a few stories from our year together and as well as a look back at some enhancements you helped us make to better improve your experience.
Hi, I’m John Robinson, President of Do Process. On behalf of our entire team, I’d like to wish you and your family a happy and safe holiday season.
The end of a year is a great time to reflect on our accomplishments and our plans for the future. In 2017,
Do Process reached another major milestone. We helped our valued customers open and manage more than 1.4 million new matters on behalf of their clients. There were many other notable moments in 2017, and here are just some of them from my colleagues.
Based on your feedback we made significant product upgrades, expanded our partnership network and now offer more training options than ever before.
And every year, we update thousands of lender forms, master documents and law office letterheads.
Some of our customers asked for programs to help them in their other areas of practice, so we delivered! We expanded our corporate law solution, Fast Company, to Alberta and Manitoba, and BC now has a Wills solution, BC Estate Planning, from our partner Emergent. We also brought The Conveyancer to Nova Scotia for the first time.
This year one of our oldest customers celebrated an extraordinary achievement, surpassing 100,000 transactions using The Conveyancer. To celebrate, Do Process hosted a lunch for the firm. It was a wonderful opportunity to catch up with old friends and make some new ones.
We’re looking forward to celebrating many more milestones with our customers in the future! This past year, more than 1800 legal professionals joined the Do Process community which has now grown to more than 15,000. And we’re growing right along with you. We now have more than 90 team members all dedicated to supporting our customers.
We are humbled and proud that you chose Do Process as the winner for the third year in a row of four Readers’ Choice Awards for The Conveyancer, Fast Company, Will Builder, and Estate-a- Base in a survey run by Canadian Lawyer Magazine.
And we’re very excited to announce the results of our Customer Experience Survey. This year you gave us a satisfaction rating of 96%! Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us; we’ll be going through the results closely to help plan future improvements in the areas that matter most to you.
Every year, we enjoy sponsoring and attending BC Notaries events, but the conference this past September was particularly special. An entire night was dedicated to celebrating Wayne Braid’s accomplished track record and his retirement. For those of you outside BC who may not know, Wayne was the CEO and Secretary of the Notaries Society of BC and the driving force behind making it the respected, influential organization it is today. We celebrated with a 007-themed casino night, speeches, laughter and a few tears. One of Wayne’s closest friends even wrote a song to help everyone wish him well…which I will not be singing now.
We also used our time at the conference to collaborate with the BC Notaries to raise money for the Red Cross in their work helping those impacted by the wildfires. In addition to the $3000 we donated to that effort, we’re proud to donate a further $10,000 to food banks all across Canada this holiday season. Thank you for helping us support such great organizations!
As you can see, we’ve been busy supporting our growing community of legal professionals. As we look to the future, we are committing significant resources to support our customers and our existing suite of products. We’re also reinvesting to develop our exciting next generation practice management platform.
