You Can Now Access the Canada Will Registry from Within Estate-a-Base

At DoProcess, we’re always looking for new innovative solutions that help legal professionals get through their days faster and easier. In 2018, we announced a new partnership with NoticeConnect® which provides a modern, court-approved approach to posting notices for creditors for a fraction of the cost of traditional newspaper advertising. That integration with Estate-a-Base® provided our customers the ability to accomplish that important task directly within Estate-a-Base without having to retype key information. Today, it’s growing even more powerful. Estate-a-Base is now integrated with NoticeConnect’s Canada Will Registry.

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with DoProcess and launch this new integration,” said Patrick Hartford, CEO & Founder of NoticeConnect. “Estate-a-Base is already a powerful and comprehensive estate administration platform. Adding the ability to search the Canada Will Registry will make it even easier for firms to find important estate planning documents.”

Today, the Canada Will Registry contains more than 200,000 Wills and it is always growing. This new integration provides a quick, effective way for legal professionals to ensure they are administering estates using the most current documents.

  • Complete your due diligence in searching for a Will within the registry of more than 200,000 Wills.
  • If there is matching Will, the law firm holding it is notified and asked to get in touch with the searching party within 30 days.
  • You also receive a certificate confirming your search and the 30 day period. You can then disburse the cost of the search query to the estate.

With this new integration, you’ll soon be able to search for a Will in the Canada Will Registry as well as post a notice for a Knowledge of a Will, at one low cost, all from within Estate‑a‑Base.
